  I lived in Poland in 2011, and I remember thinking &apos;wow things are turning around here quite nicely&apos;. Fast forward 15 years, and I&apos;m so proud of what they&apos;ve accomplished.

  I think Poland is very underrated. Imagine that their Warsaw stock exchange lists more gaming companies than Japan - which everyone considers to be the leader in the gaming industry. In addition, their stock exchange itself has been the strongest in the world since last year. I am very impressed by the transformation they have undergone. Their economy has been growing steadily for over thirty years (since they freed themselves from communism), only China&apos;s economy is better. I think that Poles are smart people and will use all the mistakes of their neighbors to avoid slowdowns and declines in the future. I read somewhere that if it weren&apos;t for the Soviet Onion, they would already be at the level of South Korea economically. I wish them that with all my heart

  I am from Poland and since I went to secondary school I was motivated to emmigrate to Germany just after finishing my studies, but in the time that it took me to finish studies the Poland became so much wealthier that the benefit of Germanies higher salaries was much less than years before and ultimately I have decided to stay, I am working as an engineer in corporation now ;)

  I think the biggest problem in Poland, is that we spend to low on Public R&amp;D.<br><br>We have really good scientists but they are underfounded.

  There are reasons why our family holiday destination next summer is not Greece, Spain or Italy. It&apos;s Poland. For a Finnish person, Poland nowadays seems like a fewer dream - safe, polite, clean, mostly-English speaking and above all, OPTIMIST. A few weeks in the shores of Baltic Sea in a country with positive vibes is just what I need after long year of cutbacks, lay offs and depression.

  The fact that Poland is growing from 3 to 5% each year may appear a bit slow compared to other economies, but for sure it&apos;s healthy. Better to do it slowly but steadly than repeat Japan scenarion from 70s or China scenario from now
