  Protecting someone doesn't necessarily mean marrying them. You could make them a foster sister or find them a good and proper husband.

  I had to skip 40 minutes in to get to the part where scum lead finally realized she was leaving him but one check of the comments showed I still didn't skip far enough, that the bull lasts the whole drama. ugh.

  The scene with the assassins where Lily dies had me bawling my eyes out. I was so heartbroken for the princess losing her beloved friend/servant. On another note, the actor who played the Crown Prince was amazing. His acting skills are on point. I really hope to see him in future dramas and hopefully in a green flag ML role soon. Very talented young man. 2ML&apos;s actor is pretty good too. Even though he expresses them subtlety sometimes, his emotions shine through even the minute looks and facial changes. I hope to see him in future dramas as well. <br><br>When the Crown Prince said he only feels pity for Isabella and then Liam says, &quot;How benevolent of the Crown Prince. Today he takes pity on Miss Vance and bestows on her the title of Crown Princess. Tomorrow he&apos;ll take pity on some other lady and give her the title of a consort. The Palace will be a blooming garden, bustling with life.&quot; I couldn&apos;t have said it better myself....lol. Not a bad drama. Though, I really think the scriptwriters are too free with the abuse of a princess. Her adopted father is the Emporer so she should have at least a handful of shadow guards protecting her. Honestly, they could&apos;ve made this a more mature and grown up version of this trope if they&apos;d been more realistic about this issue. But, they chose to have the audience suspend their disbelief. It could&apos;ve been a way better drama if they hadn&apos;t though. All in all, the script was typical angsty stuff, but the acting was superb. I only continued watching it for that fact alone. These actors and actresses deserve a better script.

  Personally this wasn&apos;t too bad but I have to admit, the thing that pissed me off the most was why the hell was she still living with him. It wasn&apos;t as if she had no options or was a unloved princess. It was the opposite in fact, she literally could have moved to the palace. Not to mention as a woman engaged to someone else I thought it was a no no for her to even be living with another guy.

  This Crown Prince is the most disgusting depiction of this CDrama ever - why would ANY woman give up being queen outright to be a Crown Princess waiting for either the Emperor to die or for her jackass husband to mess up once again😂😂😂

  This is another version of the &quot;betrayed so she got secretly betrothed to northern prince&quot; script. I like the FL&apos;s performance and I was touched by her bond with her maids. Even so , this might be one of my least favorite versions. I personally prefer the versions wherein we spend more time with the FL and her northern husband developing their feelings and giving FL the love she deserves. This one spent a lot more time in the palace with the ML and his white moonlight.
