I love Thailand. Visited about 25 times. Have a Condo. Planned to retire in Thailand. Will only visit now. The stability is gone. Trust. I feel like a potential victim these day's. Sad.

I always feared this.. the govt is always thinking of new ways to fleece the foreigner .. biting the hand that feeds them. Too much change.. regulations.. inflation.. and scams.. It is too much with visas.. banking. fines. What a shame. the greed is going to be punished.

Just move to Cambodia. Twice as good and half the price combined with zero immigration issues. After 12 years in Thailand it is the best thing I've done. Everything is better and the people are more genuine and much nicer. Thailand has committed economic and tourism suicide.

Banks hassle for seniors 70+ ! No support for on line services for seniors ! Also the retirement visa is getting harder and the Ease or Nightmare depends in the mood of the officer you get. Time to look to Vietnam !

The facts are real. Sad but true. 2 months my bank account frozen with zero warning. Now it’s much worse. I have been here 2 years now and have experienced everything that was mentioned. Retirement is not happening anymore. 😢

Their idea to charge income tax to foreigners who live in Thailand for more than 180 days a year speaks volumes about their greed.

if you are wealthy then you are educated enough to know you are being used.Many Bars and restaurants are now owned by foreigners from India and the new thirty five percent tax on expats income leaves no choice for people to realize that the party is over and there are many other choices available to travel to.i feel bad for the working class struggling Thai people as all this money does not trickle down to them but the inflation does.
