For the mic test, I think your voice sounded clearer on the XM6s

Correction: No, these headphones do not have a smaller battery. Sony have explained that the reason for the lower battery rating is the new driver unit and power-heavy features like the new Integrated Processor V3 and spatial upmixing which require more energy.

Was just researching these yesterday and I’m an XM6 owner interested in upgrading. How are we in 2026 and Sony still refuses to add USB-C lossless audio to their flagship headphones? Even the new Beats Studios have them at this point lol. I can appreciate the higher quality materials, but it’s just not good enough to warrant a $250 price increase from the XM6’s. Looking forward to your comparison video in a few weeks

Looks like they took some inspiration from Sonos ace headphones! Which is a fantastic idea! They look beautiful and thankgod for flatter ear cups. Might actually get this because I didn’t get XM6 only because of how big and kid like they look 😂

I wish they released a silver color similar to the QC35ii

Still rocking my xm4’s and in ear wf1000xm5’s. My AirPod pros (most recent gen) have fantastic anc, so use them for any “out and about” life stuff tbh. I did recently buy some audio technica ath-hl7bt headphones, open back no anc, but they are exceptional for BT music. And ridiculously comfortable and light.

Excellent review. I would be happy if it is possible to make a comparison between the Sony and the B and O H100
