  Hi Gus and Woody - This is one of your best review reaction videos. I&apos;m not a rebreather diver, but as a recreational diver, it reinforced the importance of not assuming that high-tech gear replaces sharp habits. Seeing how fast a situation turns sideways—and how critical immediate, calm decision-making is—serves as a great reminder for all of us on open circuit, too. Clean execution under pressure is everything.<br><br>Awesome breakdown, guys. Definitely a video every diver should watch, regardless of what&apos;s on their back!

  Wow, great video! The bends* are no joke. That moment of panic was terrible to watch, but I&apos;m so glad he made it through that whole ordeal. You guys flawlessly explained what was happening so us non-divers could easily understand everything that was going on! Also, I love how you not only explain what&apos;s happening but you offer solid safety advice and facts as always. Thanks for everything Dive Talk! I hope all divers stay safe and have fun out there. It&apos;s a huge blessing that humans are able to explore the deep beautiful ocean. Absolutely amazing

  Scary watching how quickly the panic kicked in looking for his bail out. Glad he was able to surface and get such great help.

  As a diver myself, seeing such an accident fully documented—rather than just reading afterward that “there was a diving accident”—really sent a shiver down my spine. I can only imagine what that fellow must have felt to the point where panic starts to set in. But to me personally, this also shows just how absolutely essential it is to practice the S-drills for you and your system over and over and over again. An emergency usually doesn’t give any warning and happens in the blink of an eye. You MUST be prepared for it—both yourself and your equipment.

  I know a case where a diver in a cave got a total flood, went to bailout on his necklace and the regulator was not there. He panic and is only alive because dude at front decides to come back, saw this and gave him his own regulator. The regulator was on the necklace but it went to the back of his head. Now I always clip my bailout regulator to a D ring, using a double ender.

  Fantastic crew here.<br>It doesn&apos;t LOOK that traumatic, but as someone who&apos;s seen this first hand, he is in an incredible amount of pain, discomfort, and confusion.<br><br>These guys definitely saved his life.
