The evolution and growth of this band from 65 to 70 is extraordinary.

Hope everyone looking at this knows that Clarence White’s Telecaster he is playing here is the original B - Bender “prototype”. Clarence allowed drummer Gene Parsons (who apparently had some experience as an engineer) to modify his treasured Tele’ to house the pull - lever mechanism for bending the B - string. Basically Gene routed out a second guitar body to carry the device and fitted it to the back of the black Tele, and the rest is history. Clarence’s guitar is now in the custody of Country legend Marty Stuart and is still in use. Clarence White RIP.

If it’d only been three miles it wouldn’t have been as good. So I’m glad they decided on eight.

Chega a lembrar uma outra grande banda da época Humble Pie. E isto é sem dúvida um elogio.

I was fortunate to see this version of the Byrds in Rochester with my HS girl friend. Even straight a tad psychedelic.
