A fun fact is that Memz warms you that it's a virus because it wasn't made as an actual, serious attempt at stealing information or doing bad stuff around the internet, but rather as a silly satirical and over the top Malware made for a youtuber that showcases old school malware on his channel. It's not something made for serious cybercrime, just something intended to be as comically destructive as possible

 Headcanons:

• YAAI pulls pranks she THINKS are harmless, but are actually really hurtful. Like, she'll make a prank where you think your dog just died only to pop out and laugh at you revealing it was all a joke and your dog is fine. She would never actually kill your dog or harm you, it's just that her pranks often go too far and end up making people upset. She genuinely wants to make people laugh, but she fails to understand when a "joke" becomes unfunny.

• BadBios is like a siren in that it can manipulate and control digital beings through song. They have a beautiful singing voice that makes other digital beings do her bidding. They remain undetected because anyone who sees them gets brainwashed instantly and instantly forgets everything.

• MEMZ has a 2000's Internet personality and can speak in L33T Speak. She really likes making old-style memes but doesn't understand newer ones, she is also REALLY obsessed with cats and will gush about every cat she sees. She does, sadly, play too rough with them and keeps scaring them away.

•Wannacry typically targets wealthy users, and views himself as a master criminal. He is 100% confident that his victims are idiots and is extremely narcissistic. He often triggers alarms on purpose and cheekly poses for security cameras to mock people. He views himself as best and HARES anyone competing for his title. While appearing cocky and "cool", he's actually extremely insecure.

headcanon: the wannacry virus guy actually initially didn't gaf about their appearances at all, they focused all their time and effort into the most effective way of being rich. So all they wore back then was a red shirt with some old jacket and jeans that had a little green logo.
But then, they became infamous. They were so effective in their business, they reached headlines and it gave them a bit of a high...
they started developing this edgy villain persona based on how everyone talked about them
And wore the tackiest bright red leather bullcrap they could find at those emo shops everyone else likes so much...
even with all that they still had no eye for design and somehow just looked like a walking 🚨.. plain and eyestraining😭

A reason that BADbios doesn't get destroyed during updates could be that he became an ever-cookie; a piece of information when destroyed makes a copy of its self.

Abt yaai’s personality, I honestly feel like they’d be more of a ‘it says gullible on the ceiling’ kinda guy, coz people only went to the website when people said to not do that

I feel like Wannacry would probably have a bunch of different evil bitcoin minions,
or just a bunch of "lesser" viruses.
Also, I really like the idea of computers being cities for the programs within, kinda reminds me of Ralph breaks the Internet,
except that movie was kinda just Disney flexing the fact that they own every franchise in existence. Cool idea and now I feel like drawing!

27:30 if I am correct wannacry did have a timer so you could have added a clock to the design idk just something I thought about ^^
