Imagine Ryan giggs played another 19 years after and the levels kept going up.

The sad thing is that the FA Cup USED to be a special event. All day coverage of it. A big deal and now it's overshadowed by the Champions League Finals and this is just a back drop.

Im 15 mins into the game and Uniteds back 4 is insane. The quality is insane. Back 4 compact when needed, making crazy blocks. Spraying world class passes around. Aggressive tackles. Bringing the ball out when needed. Leadership everywhere. Bruce walking the Queen around in the beginning like hes done it 100 times already. We will never see this again. Money can't buy what people were back then, which is different to people now. Mark Hughes doesn't get made anymore. No one looks like that version of a person anymore. Who looks like Denis Irwin now? Who at 33 looks like Steve Bruce did here? Everyone now looks the same or similar now. The 90's were a different time with different people, and it made for different football for sure. Characters is a word that gets used a lot.

 Paul Ince's finest moment.
Hansen & Jimmy Hill interrupting each other and disagreeing on things again...Which I remember happening quite a bit from the 90s MOTDs - it was painful to watch

So many simple missed place passes in the 1st 40 seconds of the game! Wow.
