  My parents were devout Catholics and I was catholic for 27 years till I met my wife, who was an Adventist. When I was Catholic, it was hard for me to fast and many years later, I noticed that whenever I ate industrialised sugar I would shake after some 6 hours fasting. After I converted into Adventism, I still ate lots of sweet thing till the Lord actually let me know He was not happy with my eating habits, so I knelt down and begged me to take the desire for sweet things away from me. Then, I started intermittent fasting (16/8) to solve some inflammations and it worked wonderfully. Then, I started reading and learning about long term fasting and decided to try a 3-day fasting. The first 48 hours are tough, but after 48 hours the hunger sort of disappears! I drank just water with black salt in order to avoid nausea and headaches. Reading the Bible during fasting is amazing because the mind is clear!

  I just began my journey in fasting today, Wednesday. I fasted from 12 am until 12 pm. I missed my goal to fast until 12 am Thursday. I felt like the Spirit was encouraging me to last longer, but I felt the hunger fighting. &nbsp;I will continue to move forward with fasting because I want to overcome some shackles. In Jesus name. Amen

  Mark, your message is that of wisdom, knowledge, and understanding. &nbsp;What fresh perspective on the purpose of fasting. &nbsp;I can do this as you so rightly stated I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. &nbsp;These are messages we need at the end of time, practical insights <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1IA7Z90JAws&amp;t=1">0:01</a> &nbsp;to be transformed into Gods character. &nbsp;Galatians 2:20 “For I am am crucified with Christ, it is no longer I who live but Christ who lives within me, and life I now live in the flesh I live for the son of God, who loved me and gave himself to save me.” &nbsp;This is how to prepare to meet Christ at the second coming and Mark your message points to that fact and needs to happen in our lives if seek to live throughout all eternity with Christ.
