I was a fire investigator in my career. I once showed up to a structure fire. The man that owned the home was sitting on the porch as the house was a raging inferno. His 5-bedroom 2-story home burned to the ground. It turned out he had a brain tumor and was not acting himself. He had started a fire in the fireplace, and forgot to close the glass door on the fireplace. Very sad.
