  I was addicted to porn for 11 years. Been clean for 100 days and i never want to go back to my old self. You don’t realize the damage it does to your mind until it’s part of your past.

  The problem is when you quit alcohol you can avoid partying and bars, porn on the other hand is everywhere and the soft porn in ads and social media feeds makes it almost impossible to avoid temptation. When people get the itch to do drugs they have to actively search for them, half the time all you need to do is make one wrong scroll online and the itch for porn can take over. Istg I don’t even have a gooner feed and they give me crazy ads. Deleted insta because half my meme pages started posting straight up naked women.<br><br>Society is fucked and I feel so bad for these kids who never got to live when it was taboo and thing it’s ok and acceptable.

  The problem with porn is that its basically invisible, like you can meet a person who seems like the sweetest, most respectful person every, while at the same time not realizing they have been struggling for years, and what makes it worse is that we have gotten to a point in our society, mainly with social media, where we are taught to keep everything to ourselves and suck it up, when literally porn is one of the most damaging addictions ever. Please, to any dudes especially, reading this, and struggling, you are not alone, most if not all men have struggled with it, and the sad part is its not just men, but children, since the internet has never been so accessible, so please get help, talk to your parents, trusted friends, or anybody that is trustworthy, since the worst you can do, is try to do everything yourself.

  Overcoming a porn addiction is extremely difficult.Update WOW 1.2K likes and 23 comments and potentially more in the future I never thought sharing something about myself that I’ve been ashamed of and let it take over my life until recently would have such a impact on people on the internet that I don’t even know and for that I am truly thankful.

  25. Ever since i graduated college, a lot of my friends have moved away while i still work in the same town. My addiction has gotten so much fucking worse because of the loneliness i feel day to day. But i have resolved that im gonna beat it this new year. Wish me luck boys.
