I'd be more interested in a long distance cross country style range test - a 30 miler across the moors kinda thing, rather than it just being an uplift....

Next test you should lower the avinox to equal bosch motor by feel and re do the test. Great vid will been waiting for this.

Ideally, you'd run both motors until they quit providing the requested assistance. Then you could accurately calculate feet climbed per watt, etc. since motors often behave differently near the end of their battery range due to different strategies.

Nice trails and skill guys, we all love range tests but they can be so rider specific with so many factors, but as a general rule it's good to know, would also be good to do with lower power bikes as well 👍🤜

Nice test. Worked out about where you would expect it. It would be nice to see the test done again but with the same assistance and maybe on a lower mode like Trail but I know it's tricky since the Avinox allows you to customise assistance, power and torque but the Bosch is a bit more restrictive and only allows you to adjust assistance with a +/- system from the default for a given mode so you can't really dial it in to a specific assistance setting.
