#MushroomHike, #EdibleMushrooms, #MatsutakeMushrooms In this video, we introduce the shapes of the White Wood Ear Mushroom (a soft and chewy edible mushroom that grows abundantly on dead trees from spring onwards when there is rain or sufficient humidity), comparing it with the True Wood Ear Mushroom, Wood Ear Mushroom, and Hairy Wood Ear Mushroom. We also compare the Funnel Mushroom (an edible mushroom resembling a forest fairy's goblet) with the White Hairy Funnel Mushroom and Gray Funnel Mushroom, which have similar shapes and names. Furthermore, we compare the purple edible Witch Mushroom (*Sculpted Witch Mushroom*) with the Suwon Witch Mushroom and Blood-colored Witch Mushroom, which are often confused due to their similar colors. We also explain the efficacy of the Saejat Mushroom (a mushroom with a pine scent and texture similar to Matsutake mushrooms) and the Noru-teol Mushroom (also known as Gaeneungi Mushroom*), which is highly edible and suitable for both medicinal and edible uses. Finally, for beginners, we compare it with the *Neungi Mushroom*, which has a very similar appearance. Furthermore, we have included methods to structurally distinguish the *Scutellaria by comparing it with the Scutellaria var. erythrosora* and Scutellaria var. sulifera*, which are often confused due to their similar appearance. Next, we have provided a detailed introduction to the somewhat unfamiliar *Scutellaria*, an edible mushroom whose underside resembles the color of squid ink. We have also explained how to distinguish the *Scutellaria var. erythrosora*—a large, everyday mushroom that grows until late autumn if conditions are right—from the poisonous Scutellaria var. erythrosora*. Additionally, we have introduced *Scutellaria var. amurensis*, an excellent edible mushroom that becomes palatable after being steeped for a few days, explained precautions for consumption, and identified individuals who should refrain from eating it. Next, we explained the benefits of the *Plate-shaped Net Mushroom*, a globally renowned large edible gourmet mushroom that grows like twins; the *Neung-i Mushroom*, an autumn gourmet mushroom considered a delicacy alongside the *Matsutake*, often referred to as "1 Neung-i, 2 Song-i"; and the *Hericium erinaceus*, which grows beautifully like a natural work of art on a prostrate oak tree and is suitable for both edible and medicinal purposes. Finally, we included precautions for consumption regarding the *Giant White Spiny Amanita*, which is so large that it can be mistaken for a *Denggu-al mushroom from a distance. We also captured footage of encountering Matsutake mushrooms in a new pine forest, presumed to be a natural habitat, rather than in a familiar location. Since many viewers requested explanations on how to consume them, we have actively incorporated those requests, providing individual instructions for every mushroom introduced in this video.
