The moment Beedrill retired, Charizard and Gyarados began going at eachother's throat with Dragonite running bets

I was confused by the Beeleth name at first, but as soon as you revealed what Charmander's name was it hit me like a...fall off a cliff that knocked me into a five-year long coma

Flail kinda works for a bee. There's the thing about how bees successfully using their stingers will die shortly after, but bees also seem most dangerous in a panicked state, like when their home is attacked.

Also, geez, Bug Pokemon got screwed in terms of moves in Gen 3. Signal Beam, Silver Wind, and Tail Glow are honestly welcome additions to the Bug-type learnset when the best most of them could use before was... Fury Cutter, maybe. But they're also visually special moves in a Gen where Bug damage is still all physical, so Pokemon who would really appreciate those moves (like Parasect, Ninjask or Beedrill) don't naturally learn them. And the ones who do learn them may be special attackers, so they might not even use these new moves.

Signal Beam on Beedrill actually makes a ton of sense, given that bee's typically communicate with each other through signals.
This would make it a stronger option than Silver Wind, not accounting for the potential omni-boost.

As far as potential abilities go, Hustle, Levitate, and Intimidate would all make sense on Beedrill, and like serve it better than an ability that will almost never activate.
