Didn’t know I needed a banjo-led, harmony-drenched version of Take On Me—but here we are, soul restored and grinning like an idiot. Pure joy in audio form.

I’m old as balls and the original has a special place in my soul. But this! Oh man. It’s joy in a biscuit 😂❤🎉

As a GenXer who adored and adores a-ha for the almost 40 years now, this brought a joy that is akin to the first time I heard Morton hit that high note. Thank you @thedreggsmusic You have a new fan (hurries off to listen to anything ever put out by The Dreggs)

This is now only the third version of this song I’ll allow in my library behind the original version and then the acoustic version Aha did some years back

Absolutely nailed it, the perfect blend of a tribute to the original masterpiece and putting their own spin on it.

I hear DHead's in our country wanting to get rid of the ABC. Triple J has helped create avenues for Aussie musicians to rise and be heard as well as establish themselves as world-class, something this veteran Aussie is immensely proud of. That performance is one of the most amazing cover's I have ever heard on like a version and that's saying something. Thanks Mo's

I like they all wore black and white subtle ref to the original music video? Love the twangy take on it! Hitting the high notes like a boss, too.
