How I miss this man. !!   What a FANTASTIC comedian.  Zany and witty, off the cuff hilarious.  Quickest comedian mind I ever saw.  Miss you Robin.❤❤❤

Robin Williams had a completely unique ability to turn an interview into controlled chaos, and Johnny Carson clearly loved every second of it. Watching Johnny genuinely lose composure is what makes these moments so special - Robin never just told jokes, he completely took over the room

Robin, Johnny and Jonathan... RIP, you are all sorely missed.  Comedy today is not what it was back then.

I have been looking for a particular Robin Williams appearance on Johnny Carson. It must have been one of his very first. Robin opens that night's show , his usual super unexpected hilarious, impromptu seemingly, broke  me up laughing. I thought I discovered a goldmine! (I did!) Second act was super guest Bob Hope. Bob did his usual act, professional and good. Bob comes over ,shakes hands, Robin scoots down , sits down, hands folded in lap, eyes cast down, silent.  Bob Hope's opening line - "Thanks a lot Johnny." His opening patter stood no chance. And throughout Bob's time with Johnny  Robin would be fighting to be good, don't interrupt Bob's time. And then 2 or 3 times Robin just could not restrain himself, Bob opened up a straight line, Robin had to give a hilarious answer, very short, and then drop back into his 'well behaved 'pose'. The difference between the two was so obvious, so tremendous, I have looked hopefully for this clip, not found it yet, but it has to be out there, and it's just too good not to be somewhere in the Ether Ozone.   ,,,, Someday....--
