  I played at Idaho St in the 80s , as a punter you could nail the center scoreboard with the right drop , but not the ceiling - taller than it looks

  If you do D3, Hartwick College's Wright Stadium is on the side of the mountain, and has no gap between the back of the endzone and a fence on one side. SUNY Morrisville has a Black Turf, which makes jt fascinating

  I visited Pocatello in 1983 on a road trip. We went to Holt Arena and wandered around the entire place. We were amazed he much was actually underground.

  My wife graduated from Hampton University.  We went to their homecoming last year. Their stadium is different but decent looking at the same time.

  @<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0y-u1SmCTIE&amp;t=745">12:25</a> - Homer Bryce @ SFA - Capacity may say 14,000, but in 2005 there was a Texas HS playoff game between Lufkin and Longview that had the stadium at 25,000. &nbsp;There were people packed on the hills on both sides from the track to the top of the hills. &nbsp;You couldn&apos;t even tell that there was grass on the sides of the stands. &nbsp;I believe the SFA Athletic office has a picture of the crowd in their office. &nbsp;I was present for that game and it was crazy. At the same time, there was a game between Southlake Carroll &amp; Abilene HS at Texas Stadium in Irving that also had around 25,000 people. &nbsp;Two HS games had around 50,000 people watching live.

  Didn’t know Grambling State had such a nice football field! That and Bama State may be the nicest looking fields in the SWAC

  I was visiting Duquesne this summer... football was practicing. &nbsp;I could walk right up to the turf. &nbsp;What was interesting though was the kickers were practicing and hitting the residence hall nearly every kick. &nbsp;You gotta imagine footballs occasionally crash through windows. &nbsp;Beautiful field though!
