this is the first time I have had the pleasure of listening to one of your lectures. I'll end up binge-watching the rest of them over Christmas.

This is tremendous material! I read the Old Testament twice; once for a complete read (excluding Psalms and Proverbs) and a second time to scribe a summary of each chapter of the OT books. I am now reading Bruce's Historical Book and listening to the YouTube lessons correlating to this Book. I studied Ancient History in School MANY years ago but never a correlation with the Bible. This Book is the perfect conduit for me to connect History with Bible Study! Thanks Bruce!

Finally, I get a clear picture of the relationship between the Hebrews and the Hyksos. From Dr Scott Striping I knew that the two coexisted in Egypt for a period but now Professor Gore has laid it out in a reasonable explanation of their relationship. Thank you.

This is very important information, and makes things clear that many of us don't know about. Thanks for the video.

I wonder why Gore never mentions the really striking fact that two Hyksos pharaohs had names similar to Jacob, Yakubher and Yakobaam. You can find this in Peter Clayton's book Chronicle of the Pharaohs.

So pleased to have stumbled across this channel. The historical surveys affably narrated by the host are simply marvelous.
