  I think it&apos;s funny that you felt like you &quot;cheated&quot; by wanting to add things that weren&apos;t randomly generated. The challenge wasn&apos;t a completely random game: it was running a game without prep! If you think of a good monster at the time, that&apos;s still within the challenge.<br><br>Also, I didn&apos;t know I needed a Neopets Pride tee shirt until now.

  I&apos;ve learnd the trick to a good No Prep game is that if you carry a sword people will say the game was so good &nbsp;it was scary. Even the rules lawyer was quiet!

  Informing the players that things are improv&apos;d definitely alleviates some stress when the RNG spits out something bizarre. It invites players to fill in the gap rather than question the gm to explain the &nbsp;logic of the world.

  I&apos;m definitely an over-prepping DM and have learned over time that actually you don&apos;t need to write every possible outcome down on paper before you run one session :hand-purple-blue-peace:

  I remember a writer say &quot;when your book is 90% complete, it writes the remaining 10% by itself&quot;.<br><br>My point is that in this case, the random tables will give you the prompts to work with, and you connecting the dots with previous information is the story &quot;writing itself&quot;. At first, most of the story is as empty canvas, but as you get more and more information, more and more things can be linked to previous information.

  FYI, your Starbucks probably put the appropriate amount of whip on your drink, it just melted before it got home. &nbsp;Starbucks (and pretty much every other restaurant company and whip producer), use Nitrous Oxide (yes, laughing gas, just at significantly lower concentrations) in their whipped cream. &nbsp;NO2 has the benefit keeping the whip from spoiling longer, but the downside that the whip will &quot;melt&quot; back into cream not too long after being dispensed. &nbsp;Air-whipped... whipped cream will stay stiff quite a bit longer. &nbsp;However, it will spoil much faster due to the whole, you know, oxygen-makes-things-rust thing.
