  Burgos! yes - that's where my achilles went on strike! (Luckily a volunteer taped up my leg and I could continue pain free)... made all these mistakes lol. walked 100 km in the first 2 days. More hotspots than unaffected skin. left uneeded items in hostels across the camino. It was amazing :)

  This is quite a summary, eben so you can do camino in multiple styles; I‘d say „Runner“, „vacational“, „passionate“, „couple“/„group“ and „Individualist“ (e.g. because of certain Health reasons) - but There is also bycicles , Campers and e.g. „Trampers“..<br>Depending on the answer on this - an this present Sport and hiking experience - may give at least an idea of your Type (Even it Max Change during Camino experience)<br>This may give you backbag type needed (dont Save Money on this) next with shoes (dont Save monay with this) and other Tools (hikers with hiking sticks or not, etc..)<br>If you tend to Fall, Stone+Talk can lead to this, also Sport gloves might be a topic.. also mg and „door grease cream“ for feet is suggested..

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0rsq14K2GLE&amp;t=340">5:40</a> Yes I did this mistake 4 years ago while going the camino del norte. I just picked a sports shoe which was OK in normal use. What a mistake. After about 1 week it really got uncomfortable, together with the constant walking on tarmac. I now have a trail running shoe with wide toe box. Much better.
