Like some Wise Guy once said, to paraphrase; they weren't the biggest boys, or the toughest, or the smartest. But what they had in common is that they were the most violent .

A gripping portrait of one of the most volatile figures of the gangster era. From his alliance with Dillinger to the explosive Battle of Barrington, this documentary captures how ambition, ego, and violence defined Baby Face Nelson’s short but deadly legacy.

I was in pest control for several decades. One of my clients was the Michigan Department of corrections. One of my stops was DEHOCO, which was Michigan's Women's prison where Helen had served her sentence. (dehoco = DEtroit HOuse of COrrections). They had huge vegetable gardens that fed the prisoners in all of Michigan's state prisons.

I read somewhere that Nelson worked for Capone's Outfit for a very short time as a bodyguard.

Alvin "Creepy" Karpis ended up in Alcatraz. Even though Karpis was part of another gang, he was one of the last of the depression era gangsters.
