  Lex Luthor is never one to let go of his ego. &nbsp;Xanatos learned to be more humble. &nbsp;And unlike Lex, he actually took the time to start a family he truly cares about.

  This is amazing, Xanatos has always been my favorite villian because he is not some petty tyrant who explode in rage in the face of failure but a man who made that failure a new oportunity.

  I am so happy Gargoyles has such a fanbase still dedicated. I was kid when it aired, and Xanatos is such a great character.

  I remember suggesting this. And it definitely pays off. Xanatos once said &quot;Revenge is a sucker&apos;s game&quot; and he lives by it. He plays every angle so that in some way, he gains a little, if only just a little more data. Xanatos doesn&apos;t have losses, he has setbacks. And Luthor&apos;s trapped in an unending cycle of vengeance because his pride and envy can&apos;t tolerate one being constantly above him. He may be a genius and he&apos;s certainly proven that time and again. But that genius is wasted on pettiness.
