  It wasn&apos;t till much later that I learned the PokeDoll interaction with Ghost Marowak was a Glitch not a Feature. As a kid playing Red my older cousins convinced me that was the correct way to go through Lavender Tower as the Doll reminds the Marowak Mom of its child and is calmed.

  Gen 1 is not held together with duct tape and prayers. &nbsp;They ran out of duct tape. &nbsp;It&apos;s just friction keeping it from falling apart.

  It should be noted that the Fire Stone MISSINGNO. in question can&apos;t just be any MISSINGNO. but one at a specific index number, as there are 39 near-identical MISSINGNO. in the code

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0nNTblbqTd4&amp;t=711">11:51</a> woudl be the type of glitch that you&apos;d hear a kid talking about on the playground how his poliwhirl evolved without a stone at level 24, and you&apos;d think he&apos;s an idiot because you know it&apos;s impossible, he must be lying to try to tell a cool story. meanwhile he&apos;s telling the truth and nobody believes him lol

  I can imagine accidentally revealing the ghost&apos;s true form could be a scary experience for a kid back when the game was released. You&apos;re fighting this ghost, check your pokemon stats for some reason and when you exit the menu the ghost changed and it&apos;s laughing at you.

  Isn&apos;t the theory that Blaine originally had an X-item instead of the potion, and that&apos;s why there is no health check? Cause they changed the item but forgot to change the AI?

  One of my favorite glitches, mistakes, programs errors, or just something GameFreak wanted to change is the fact that Bug and Poison were Super Effective against each other in Gen 1.
