Ooh, comparison video 🙌 how are you so good at this? I've watched Food vlogers with 1M + subscribers that are no where near as good as you. Great to see your dog roaming around in the background, Gomgom's soooo cute 🐶 was nice to see Ghiradelli's square, but you definitely pay Ghiradelli tax there 😆

You should do a dim sum lunch comparison with high end dim sum restaurants like HL Peninsula, Koi Palace, Yang Sing and Dragon Beaux

So rare to find honest YT foodies these days, thank you! Just saying everything is great helps no one. I'd love you to try Yummy Dim Sum in Oakland, and Tin's Teapot Bistro in Hayward.

Glad you did this and explained the ingredients in the dim sum.

Great comparison. Your critique is spot on. Dim Sum Bistro would be my casual meal. Palette Tea House would be a place I would go on special occasions.

Well, well...you just popped up as a recommendation from YT. After checking out this video, since I'm from the City too, I like your style and this review. Props for the great effort. Reviewing your library of vids, I'm looking forward to seeing some of those also. You've gotten a new subscriber. My wife and I travel to China often...no, we're not Chinese... and we're heading to Shanghai and Chongqing in two months. China is amazing. The people are warm, welcoming, and kind. The sights? Nothing short of incredible...and, yes, the food is great there too. But I do love hearing your opinions of our local cuisine. Again, major props. You are appreciated.

First time at Dim Sum Bistro today! We were lucky to beat the lunch crowd! Order quite a bit of their dim sum! The shrimp dumpling aka Har Gow, steamed char siu bow and custard bun are pretty good! Not a bad place for dim sum with their price point! But I prefer Good Luck Dim Sum and Wing Lee Dim Sum in the Richmond district! But that being said, if I am in the Chinatown area, I definitely would go to Dim Sum Bistro for my dim sum!

Can we talk about this trend of restaurants reducing steamed dumplings to only three per order? What's up with that! And, you're 100% correct, Vancouver/Richmond has the best dim sum in North America! Toronto/Markham pretty good, too. We the North!

Being from San Francisco (born and raised), there are so many great spots for Dim Sum in SF Chinatown. While the most optimal is the sit down with family, my preference is the takeout. And yes, Dim Sum Bistro on Broadway is one that I, too, highly recommend for Dim Sum takeout. Fabulous price saving for a good meal of Dim Sum.
