Just because you didn't get to have the fairytale wedding you wanted doesn't mean you ruin it for someone else. The mom clearly is suffering a mix of main character syndrome and narcissism. She can't stand seeing other people happy and celebrating moments. I firmly believe the bride should go no contact with her mother forever. If the bride and groom end up having kids, keep them away from the mother (the bride's mom.)
