  Valyria is interesting enough to make a entire show/book but imagine the budget on a faithful adaptation of old Valyria. Thousands of dragons in the sky with Buildings a tall as sky scrapers with thousands of dragon lords. I genuinely thinks it would be too expensive considering the budget for house of the dragon. But I would love nothing more than to see it. Maybe in the future

  After aegons conquest this would be a huge money maker for hbo. Valyria at its height , a depiction of where the Targaryens fell among the other dragon lord families .  How their mages created the dragons , their politics , and all the shapes types of dragons . The different ways and connections between riders and their dragons . Them fighting together with 30 plus dragons at a time . I’d love it

  I love how the big 3 all do this (LotR, Dune, asoiaf). Its add so much mystery and just character to the world when the most epic stuff has already happened and people tell stories about them. I wonder if anyone can ever reach this level of writing prowess again in my lifetime.

  I listen to this every night to fall asleep and can never go past the first 5 minutes. Damn. It is somehow so comforting. I wish I could listen to the whole thing though.

  I feel like if this was animated and like directed in the style of Vinland Saga, the anime, it would work so well all the blood and muted tones

  In all honesty I believe this is how the Targaryens and other dragonlords came about. When they say blood of the dragon they mean it. Targaryen deformed babies are often described with scales, tails and wings. <b>Yes I do know what a miscarried baby looks like from personal experience.</b> GRRM is putting great emphasis on the miscarried Targaryen babes having dragon features.
