CORRECTIONS:
* The KMT is not currently (2025) in power in Taiwan; I should have said they're in the government still, but not the party in power.

I really appreciate the disclaimer at the beginning. Getting really sick of seeing AI polluting "history" channels.

You're now the Dr. Porter to many, including to myself. Keep inspiring us towards history, brother Sean!

This is hilariously good timing. Last night i thought to myself before bed, “it’s been about a month or so since Sean Munger posted. Wonder if we will get something new here soon.”

I need to go play the lottery tonight

I took a class in my undergraduate called “The Politics of China” and much of the first half of the class was recent Chinese history. It was both one of my favorite and least favorite classes. Favorite because it was interesting, least favorite because every class it felt like we came in and learned about a new tragedy that killed millions of people. 20th century China is truly a depressing topic.

It’s truly impressive that Sean simultaneously works for the CCP, CIA, Mossad, FSB, MI6, Majestic 12, the Greys and various “dark” organisations that have acronyms that they don’t even know.

Jokes aside, I greatly appreciate your work!

Despite running the length of a feature film, your documentaries are so well paced that I consistently find myself thinking "That's it?" at the end of each video.

I want to put to rest once and for all the conspiracy theories of Sean Munger’s organizational ties: Sean
works for me.

Hi. I’m an agent for the US Forest Service. We recruit big hairy men, like myself and Sean, to serve as real-life Spokesmen for our Wildfire Prevention Campaign.

All of Sean’s videos are financed by us, and they all share a common moral.

Some reinforce this point subtly (like his videos on the Manson Family). And some overtly (like his video on the Persian Gulf War).

The message is this: Only You Can Prevent Forest Fires.
