Yeah! Please continue this series! There's so much about anime that I just don't know! You introduced some gems that I never knew about, including the one that you began this video with! Bring them on!

My first picks of forgotten animes are:
-Those Who Hunt Elves
-Blue Seed
-Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040
-Silent Mobius
-Burst Angel
-Burn Up W
-Birdy the Mighty

Also, I DO remember Angelic Layer. It was very adorable how Misaki's world grew up thanks to the robot fights :)

I love the Angelic Layer manga and even have the physical copies. But when I read about the anime, I saw that there were so many plot changes that it didn’t look like Angelic Layer at all. It was made during the heyday of anime adaptations going off the manga’s trajectory, but this adaptation was just bizarre.

Hearing anybody mention of the works of Mitsuteru Yokoyama warms my heart, that guy was a pioneer to both the mecha and magical girl genre.

If there's a forgetten anime I can recommend, I recommend the 1967 Osamu Tezuka classic, Princess Knight, which actually got a remake film this year.

Also, R.I.P. to Peter Cullen, the original voice of Optimus Prime and the announcer for that Gigantor promo as well as many promos for Toonami.
