I almost wish you hadn't included the "but the story didn't end there" bit at the end.
We all know Nick's a very accomplished carp angler, but even he can graft his bollocks off, get everything spot on, totally blank, yet still have a very entertaining film that shows the reality of carp fishing at du Der.

Best film makers in the game. Best bait makers in the game. With best storyteller in the game …it’s a strong line up. Awesome as always lads. All the best for 2026. 💥

Nick has always been a great raconteur. With age he’s like those bottles of Cotes Du Rhone 😉

Cracking video and great to hear your thought process on fishing such a huge lake.

Fair play Nick, this is one of the best fishing vids I’ve seen on YouTube, very inspiring, raw and entertaining. I will defo be looking into fishing some park lakes in France in the near future.

Like Nick said: it's the little things: the idea of a storm pole to keep the boat away from the rods is definitely coming with me back to Du Der!

I’m just 20 min into movie and I have nearly one hour to watch and I feel sorry it will end , wow what a movie and story

In the 90's every spot was a night fishing swim, times change I guess.
The guy is right, Du Der is about soul food.
