This was an extra special treasure hunting adventure with special permission to search the fields of a castle! ( I wasn't able to film the castle) We spent a few days exploring the fields with metal detectors, and we know that Gold Celtic coins were found in this area, so we were excited. The finds didn't disappoint- what was your favourite?! I hope you enjoy this adventure as much as we did then drop a thumbs up 👍if you enjoy watching. Big thanks to Wally for organising this expedition, and also Adam, Michelle and Hannie for joining! If you want to try metal detecting today, I was using a Minelab Equinox 800 metal detector, and if you want to try magnet fishing, get my magnet with discount code 'bondi10' from www.bondimagnets.com Thanks for watching! Yewww 😃🤙(Sorry for publishing a day late, Nicky Johnny and I are travelling in Switzerland for more treasure)

The "horde" at 3 minutes was probably a halo. When iron seeps into the dirt there is residual metal particles in the soil that trick the detector into thinking there's something there. Then when you dig it, you break the halo and nothing really comes out of the hole and the pinpointer won't find anything either.

Leigh! I work at Rockingham Castle in the UK and we have metal detectors find amazing things on the land, just the other week they found a tap for a keg, a cannon shot and an old shilling. If you’re ever in the UK we would love to have you visit!
It had a lot of use during Roman times and some battles during the English Civil War, so treasures are bountiful.

Edit: I should also mention I do outdoor maintenance there, so I’ve found a Victorian belt buckle, a clay pipe and a shilling just passively doing my job!
