A HUGE thank you to Ken for the fascinating conversation and for providing so many special behind the scenes images. Unfortunately owing to a scheduling issue we weren't able to complete our planned virtual tour of the Titanic wreck - but we hope you have enjoyed this unique look at Ken's amazing career. :)

someone please tell Ken he can talk for as long as he wants about whatever he wants. he’s so clearly trying not to get too distracted or talk too long, which is appreciated but i can tell how passionate he is. He should be allowed to say as much as he wants about anything.

Ken’s story of how he realised that the shoes were the only thing left of a person brought a tear to my eyes. Thank you for this wonderful conversation

How incredibly close his paintings from decades ago are to the recent 3D scans of the wreck are a testament to Ken’s genius. Really astonishing.

I'll admit, I thought many of the paintings were photos back in the 80's and 90's. The amount of detail and realism that Ken expresses is incredible! Thank you for sharing his story with us, Mike.

Fun Fact:<br>Ken Marschall not only worked as the<br>Visual Historian for James Cameron's<br><b>"TITANIC"</b> (1997), but he previously<br>worked on Cameron's earlier film:<br><b>"THE TERMINATOR"</b> (1984) as a Matte<br>Artist.<br><br>He also did the matte paintings for<br>the comedy classic: <b>"THE NAKED</b><br><b>GUN: From the Files of Police Squad!"</b><br>(1988).
