  It could be possible that Charlie&apos;s wand was a handmedown for him as well. An older relative that passed away may have left it for Charlie, who replaced it with a personal wand once he started working and could afford it, leaving his first wand to be given to Ron. Financially speaking the Weasleys were probably even worse off in Charlie&apos;s youth than during the main series, as Arthur would&apos;ve been even lower in Ministry rank- meaning less pay- and there were many kids being born to him and Molly in a relatively short time- meaning higher expenses- which means altogether they needed a handmedown wand for Charlie in the first place.

  Being possesed by Voldemort (thus being his puppet) Ginny would have used advanced spells like the Desillusionement charm to turn invisible.

  Hagrid was expelled in 1943. Hagrid was also around 13 yo and effectively an orphan when he was expelled. Hagrid would have been destroyed had he tried to live with giants being so small and already rejected by his mother. Hagrid as a half giant with no muggle relations would not have adapted well to life with muggles. Ogg was gamekeeper while Arthur and Molly Weasley attended Hogwarts in the 1960s. So we know Hagrid was a gamekeeper in training, a journeyman since 1943 and not some full fledged staff member. Dumbledore secured Hagrid a lifeline between worlds Hagrid never quite fit into, something he could have attempted for Ariana and became a form of atonement.

  The biggest plot hole of chamber is the mandrakes. You&apos;re telling me that in the ENTIRE wizarding world, they couldn&apos;t get any mandrakes from ANYWHERE else other than waiting half the year for sprout to grow them? 😂

  In the case of Ron’s wand: I always assumed it was a hand-me-down for Charlie as well. He was known for his skill in quidditch during his time at Hogwarts, but was not an exceptional student like Bill or Percy (who were both Head Boy). I always figured the wand he was using actually belonged to one of Molly’s deceased brothers, much like Harry’s watch.

  In regards to the portraits, whenever we see them, or are told about them, there are numerous all side to side. When Ginny petrified Mrs. Norris, she was able to write on a massive portion of the wall in blood, indicating no portraits, or very few, in that area. Plus, there are several creatures with yellow eyes in the Harry Potter franchise.

A story was given out that the girl had died in a freak accident..trophy for my trouble and warned me to keep my mouth shut.&quot;<br>Hagrid was never outed as the person who tapped into the Chamber of Secrets.<br><br>When Hagrid was outed as a half giant via Rita Skeeter he tried to resign and Dumbledore refused his resignation letter. Dumbledore stepped in to save Hagrid from himself, something he could not do for Ariana.

  I think dumbledore had spoken to myrtle but he couldn’t convince anyone else of Hagrids innocence however it was believed Hagrid wasn’t trying to kill people so dumbledore convinced the headmaster to give him the job which I believe is mentioned later on in the books

  Myrtles unfinished business wasn&apos;t to have someone know about her death, it was to punish the girl who teased her into being there in the first place. Something she was doing before the ministry of magic intervened and sent her to Hogwarts. Olive Hornby was tormented by myrtle right up until her wedding day that myrtle ruined, at which point she got the ministry of magic to intervene. That&apos;s what myrtle was miffed at and now she&apos;s been prevented from doing that.

  I always imagined Charlie also inherited his wand, probably from one of Molly&apos;s brothers after they were killed. Then once he began his career, the first thing he did was get himself his own wand.
