i love how above their tutus their faces are calm while below, their feet are busy executing complex moves just like a swan does while floating in a lake

 Never ask:
A woman how old she is;
A man what his salary is;
A Russian why he/she is waiting for "Swan Lake" to be shown 24/7 on all the country's TV channels again.

 Fun fact: in the Soviet Union, when bad things were happening (the fall of the Soviet Union, Stalins death, etc) this would be aired on TV

 Some people don't understand how difficult this dance actually is to perfect. While the moves look simple, they have to do every single step, kick, etc at the EXACT same time. Ballerinas deserve so much recognition for all the hard work they put into every incredible performance

 Ballerinas are so underrated. No sport could ever match up to the hardships they have to endure. Plus they look amazing at their sport.
