  That lady was very kind. At the end she said "Peittu wa pa" meaning "see u later my boy". Its an affectionate statement used to address someome dear to them.

  You are a kind and nice man Davud. Now most of the Sri Lankans like myself have addicted to see the next video. What you ate is a traditional bite eaten after meals. When visiting people after a tea,breakfast  lunch or dinner we offer them. It's mostly used in urban areas. Beatle leaves,arecanut,lime and dried and processed tobacco leaves are added. Don't eat this again as you are not used to it.It is just like smoking and using chewing gum.

  Luckily they didn’t add dried tobacco leaves. Normally people chew betel quid adding betel leaves, areca nut, slaked lime (calcium hydroxide paste) and dried tobacco leaves.<br>Betel chewing now remains mainly a habit of the elderly in rural areas.

And that thing u eat is very bad for your health and tooth (<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0D9PejOASmg&amp;t=795">13:15</a>). And the store owner try to cheat you and other guy said he has camera 🎥 and he will put it that u took 100 rupees for paaku. It was bad of them but u was very kind

  You ate a betel leaf with a piece of arecanut. But some other foods that should be eaten with tea are cardamom, cloves, nutmeg, ginger, flakes, coriander, arecanut.
