Idaho Falls, Idaho. Today (24 September), I stubbed my toe on the door. I lost about five tablespoons of blood. I got a ride to the hospital and got five stitches in the end of my big left toe. My ride didn't answer the phone, so I walked almost two miles before catching a ride with a total stranger. Yet I was cheerful and cracking jokes during and after the stitches. I joked that I am now longer expecting triplets any day, just twins after walking in the heat. I guess I am a fairly tough fellow. Yeah, I'm a pregnant guy. ( I am ~ 250 pounds.) Cheerfulness and good humor are requisites for a speedy recovery. So, today, I can sympathize with Kosumi, though my injury is not nearly as bad as hers. One thing which is absolutely required is never to feel sorry for yourself and never let anyone else feel sorry for you.
