  I remember the whole Derpy thing very well. My son, 14 at the time, is autistic and developmentally delayed. He was so SO hurt and upset when they changed her voice and took out her name. He wanted to know why she had to be changed when no other character had to be. &nbsp;He saw Derpy as being like him, and was so happy to see Rainbow Dash treating her like everybody else. Being kind to her but also showing her irritation when Derpy caused things to go &quot;haywire.&quot; 😂. He was bullied a lot in school, and I think it gave him hope that someday people would treat him the same way.
