  I was in the FB group when this all went down and was super disappointed with Indie''s response and reaction. Her lack of willingness to take accountability and to stop and listen, doubling and tripling down, was crazy. Now she got a new channel about interior lighting or whatever and a video where she claims she just "fell off of skating" 🙄

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=02WgXP-ioWA&amp;t=401">6:41</a> it’s crazy how they tip toe around racism because “what about the children”, as if black children aren’t subjected to discrimination and racism regardless of “if their parents are comfortable with it” or not… on another note, it never surprises me how people fail to mention how skate culture was kept alive by black American skaters, but the digital resurgence and capital gains went to ww’s pockets…. “It’s cool when they do it, it’s a problem when I do it” in actuality.

  ohh I forgot all about this .... haha and I was in the zoom call / panel, and yeah it was very odd. I remember being surprised it was to be live. and we were chosen cause we argued the most with her (in a nice way) in the group. so I guess she thought we would be safe choices to have, but I don&apos;t think she expected us to come in as we did lol<br><br>my comment under Karen&apos;s vid (5 years ago lol) : Just an fyi^ re:town hall zoom call, the reason we were chosen is because we were actually there throughout the whole thing and being very vocal, like to the point where i was basically calling sojourn a token for Indys channel... <br> <br>A lot of people were asked to be in it, but not many wantes to be. So we were left with 2 brits, and 4 Americans +Indy and Pigeon. <br> <br>P.s, the going live this was a miscommunication, she &quot;told us&quot; the day before and asked our permission, we thought the video was just gonna be recorded and uploaded later. But we dound out 15mins before it was a youtube live but we all consented before actually going live 🙋🏾‍♀

  I was on that facebook group when this happened. I appreciate you doing a deep dive into all these different skate controversies. The audacity of her to build a career off of roller skating and jam skating and not honoring and standing with the black community that founded it is disgraceful
