  I've heard 'fire breathing' preachers say 'If God doesn't judge America.. he'll have to raise up Sodom and Gomorrah and appologize!' ... The rhetoric preaches" from the pulpit and gets Amens! But it occured to me years ago that God would saved Sodom for 10 people. In spite of the obvious sinful among us, even to this day no other nation has done or still does more to advance the Gospel than the United States. That kind of message never sat well with me. I think it kind of strokes some believers into a holier than thou mind set.
