  Lovely sunny cruise Phil. We used to always comment about motorway noise and how grateful we were to be able to escape it on the canal when we had our boat. It makes you feel like you’re in a peaceful parallel world! Lots of brown grass around so obviously this was filmed before the rains returned. Lovely stretch of canal.

  You were kind to let people go ahead of you. I like your positive attitude. It’s nice when the locks are set in your favour. I’m sure help with the locks is always appreciated too. What a beautiful day to cruise. The M6 is noisy with a lot of transport, at least that’s what we call them in Canada. I think you call them lories. We don’t have a railway track close by but during the night, depending which way the wind is blowing, you can hear their whistle way off in the distance. Fresh wash outside is one of my favourite smells. I do it during the summer but not during the winter, though I’m thinking of trying that. Not in -40 degree weather though. We get that with the wind chill. A feel good community on the canals. Thanks for sharing. See you soon. Cheers!

  Busy start to the vlog, calm quiet and tranquil end, lovely. Agree with noise, I had train line at the bottom of my garden and didnt hear them after a while. I have to get my fix from vlogs for a while, brother had an op so we've had to postpone our October on the cut😢 Thank you for that fix, happy cruising x
