American here; I literally understood every accent/dialect perfectly. My only issue was the word gaff for house

Definitely the MLE is the most difficult one! Without your explanation, I can’t understand a word! Thanks!

Breaking down Cockney, Posh, and MLE accents in one video made the differences so clear and easy to follow. Props to you for pushing through with a broken ankle and still delivering such an engaging lesson. You are hands down one of the absolute best creators on YouTube!

Posh is the one I speak. I grew up in Windsor 25 miles west of London.

his 'gaff' was the only time I got lost on the Cockney.

Alright, mate! As a learner, I have been listening to a lot of British podcasts for the last four years. I would say I have listened to all of them, luckily. Yeah, you're the person to get the credit, mate. Cheers!

I'm not a native English speaker. Posh London English is very easy to understand. Cockney is also easy to understand except for the local slang expressions. MLE is difficult one but manageable.

I'm 2 hours from London and apart from the different slang I understood every accent. Closest sounding to the way we speak is probably cockney, again, with different slang words, with a touch of MLE for the youngers.

I deciphered the 3rd Cockney clip correctly but thought I was wrong because I didn't fathom that would have been what he said. Turns out it indeed was.
