  I had a raccoon beanie baby that I used to play with as “Sly.” I accidentally dropped him in a rosemary bush and he never stopped smelling like rosemary. So every time I smell rosemary I think of Sly Cooper lol

  The biggest enemy in Sly Cooper games is normally your own patience. You want to be quick and sneaky, but there is skill to that quickness and a risk.

  As a sly cooper fan with none of my friends willing to try it out from how old it is I feel so justified seeing the love it received here 😂😂

  Sly 1 is such a fun game to play and the level of difficulty for children STILL HOLDS UP. No lie, I let my 7 yr old niece play it on my Ps2 and you could tell from the way she would naturally assume the “gamer locked in” sitting position as she played that the levels were challenging enough to frustrate her on every death, but easy enough that every life she was able to progress just a little further until she beat the stage/boss. After a month of playing, when she beat Clockwork on her own we both yelled in joy and watched the cutscene in amazement. That one boss with his 3 phases took her 2 hours to beat and i was so happy to hear that right after she beat the game she wanted to play Sly2!

  Hundred percenting Sly 4 without a guide is infinitely more difficult than hundred percenting Sly 1.

  Fun thing I learned about muggshot's fight while playing first game: it's completely countered by the Roll ability! Muggshots bullets fly at a set height and can never dip below it, even when tracking Sly. Sly's Roll decreases his height enough to sneak under ALL of muggshot's bullets, which completely trivializes phases 1 and 2! The only good use I found for the roll lmao

  Sly 2 may be one of the greatest sequel games of all time. The sly series in general is the reason why I still play Playstation

  In regards to the end message of Sly 2, Monkey Island 2 had a similar end credits message along the lines of "Go outside and do something constructive" back in 1991...so video games have been telling you to touch grass since the 90s
