I'm beginning to understand that "And Reacher said nothing..." really means, Reacher said everything that needed to be said.

I'm kinda sad they didn't make Langston's death more brutal. In the book, reacher was much colder in that moment. He ordered the pilot to fly higher and higher and analyzed how long Langston would be falling, because the longer the fall, the more terrifying the death is. But I still really liked this season and enjoyed every minute of it. Love your videos!

I like that Ferdinand Kingsley went from being immortal in The Sandman to being as dead as one can get in Reacher.

Fun fact! 13:58 that’s Noam Jenkins AKA the voice actor for Aiden Pearce from Watch Dogs

I love the way Reacher and Neagly say good bye. She can't touch and he respect that. So they find a way.
Also love taking out the pilot and AM. The people who say they didn't really do anything bad. The pilot just flew the copter, where they were throwing people out of it. AM Look of shock when Reacher shot him was great also.

Regarding the different feel for this season as opposed to season one, I think that’s a by product of the genius and craziness of Lee Child’s writing process. He literally writes from page one to the end. That means he doesn’t know going in what kind of book it is until it’s written. Is it going to be more of a mystery like book one that season one is based on or more action thriller look book eleven, like season 2 is based on? Is it going to be more rural with limited locations or more international, as you said, where Reacher is literally spanning the globe? That’s the good thing about the series—there’s a variety of plot, mood, tone, and scope book to book. The only common thread is Reacher himself because that guy is etched in stone as to what the content of his character is.

28 books and it’s never gotten stale.

I agree, Robert Patrick was an awesome villain this season, the guy's a legend. Yes he's played an amazing range of roles. He was fantastic in X Files, Doggett was a wonderful character. Great reaction to a great season finale.

Metaphorically speaking, one could say that Langston met his end between a rock and hard place.

It's wild because this season is, very literally, exactly what the title of the book is: Bad Luck and Trouble. No one was dirty. It was just bad luck that the 110th was pulled into a violent conspiracy. Trouble followed.

You know a show is good when it makes you want to read the book.

That's what a good adaption should do.

I loved the book Bad Luck and Trouble, I've read it twice.
This adaptation was excellent.
The action was fast paced and violent.
The characters were well rounded and each one was believable!
Lee Child's writing status with you long after You've read the book, and moved on. Looking at the book cover brings back the essence of the book.
I love them all, especially Second son, is a short book, and tells you everything you need to know for you to understand Reacher.

To repeat a hilarious comment I saw in another youtube thread, 'You know, if Tom Cruise had still been playing Jack Reacher then the helicopter scene would not have been CGI.'

As for the retinal scanner, I guess I overestimated the scriptwriter's willingness to work with technical details and they just ignored that they don't work on dead, separated eyeballs. Oh well, it is fiction.
