  Ive spent alot just to get the right sound. Keely makes my favorite. Its a compressor. And it is the only pedal I have been stunned by the ease of use and the immediate improvement it gave my clean channel.

  You grabbed some great stuff.  Wampler Tape Echo is cool too.  For what I do I have to add compression and DynaComp is king.  I bought the first one that came into the store in the early 70's and I luv it for low volume slide.  Excellent vid.

  I narrowed things down to either a fuzz (my favorite being the EWS Fuzzy Drive) or a pedal the blurs the line between overdrive and fuzz specifically the Doheny AudioTube Vybz, a delay and a tuner. I can leave the Fuzzy Drive on and roll back my guitar’s volume and get clear glassy cleans, ramp up the guitar’s volume for a subtle overdrive or dime the guitar’s volume for a great dynamic fuzz.

  YES! Welcome to the 3 pedal pedalboard club. &nbsp;<br><br>The amp you have does help keep it simple. Classic amps with Spring Reverb and Tremolo eliminate 2 pedals. Ab amp with an actual decent gain channel no need for an Overdrive or Distortion. <br><br>My Supro has a great Dirty Channel, built in Boost and. Spring Reverb. &nbsp;So my pedal board is Fuzz, Tremolo, and Delay. A different amp I would switch out the Tremolo for a Boost or Overdrive . Another amp I&apos;d only have Fuzz and Delay.

  I&apos;ve started with a single RAT, and 20 years later, ended up with a single RAT. Boost? No problem. OD? No problem. Dist? No problem. Fuzz? No problem.<br>You should consider it :D

  My favorite Tube Screamer is the Wampler Moxie. Ibanez TS-10 clone. Has a voice switch to balance the mids a bit and make it less honky if you so choose. The &quot;Fat&quot; toggle switch adds FET distortion and it sounds glorious. And it&apos;s tiny as hell.

  I have ton of pedals and figured out a while ago that I can use any of the 20+ ODs that I have and get a tone that makes me happy through my Princeton. &nbsp;Same goes for delays, &nbsp;I can make it work just fine. &nbsp;OD, EQ, and Analog or Tape delay &nbsp;(sometimes a fuzz) are all I need. &nbsp;I do have separation anxiety issues about getting rid of the other 60+ that don&apos;t get used though. &nbsp;It&apos;s a sickness, &nbsp;but it&apos;s my sickness.<br>Great vid AJ!

  I have and use overdrives and booster pedals a lot, I like to stack them so my board usually has at least three overdrives and one booster. My main big board has the M5 and the TimeLine on it. the M5 I use for modulation. Still working on a simplified board but I haven’t got it to just three or four pedals yet. Thanks for the ride…
