  My dad use to take that bus everyday to go to work, but luckily he got ill and missed that day, I wouldnt off been born, and my dad wouldn’t be alive today

  Omg I remember this so well. My oldest son had been working in france for 6 weeks he was flying back that morning he was getting the 8.30 London to edinburgh train from kings cross. I was at work in my office knew nothing of what had happened till one of my co workers came down and told me there had been a terror attack on london. I found out more details tried 100s of times to ring my son line was not connecting rang the help number on the telly went home and waited 4 news. That afternoon 2 police officers came my door I knew by their faces it wasnt good news. They believed he was on the platform wen the bomb went off did he have any identifying tatts birth marks ect as now they were looking for body parts. I was broken I had 5 yr earlier lost my 7yr old son. Dont know how i got through that nite or the next day but the following nite i heard a key in my door and there he was alive and well. They had been delayed in france missed the plane thank god.

  My mum was literally working in the building next to that bus then the bomb went off, She tells me about it all the time and still claims to be the scariest moment of her life

  Fun fact I was actually born on this exact day when these attacks were happening my mum told me how much panic there was as she was giving birth to me during these attacks

  I&apos;ll never forget that day.<br><br>I was 14 during that time and lived in south West london and during that month I was doing work experience during the summer holiday and, roughly two days after the attack we got the news that one of the colleagues at the company I was doing work experience at died on that day.<br><br>Horrible day.

  I remember being in primary school when this happened. My mum told the school not to tell me until I got to her, my dad worked on the buses (thankfully not in central), but even seeing this brings back memories of that time. Respect for covering it boys
