Trevor Story can sit on the bench and put the Wally Hat on whomever hits a HR.

That green lettered Easton bat behind Eric brings back great memories.

5:44 that part. Coupled with being handcuffed by Crane, he’s got Not so Buff Bagwell to deal with. Dana is a scapegoat but this on the owner

There is so much value in scouts, they want to outsource it to Ai, its about as dumb as saying era doesn’t matter or lets preserve a guys arms so he wont get injured rather than build durability by throwing more

The Astros front office can deny telling Joe Espada he's going to be let go but someone had to have leaked it. No sane person with common sense should want either job unless they are desperate for a paycheck. Bagwell has been in Crane's ear too much. No one would want to have to get approval for a trade or free agent signing having to go thru Bagwell. He wants to act like a GM but doesn't want the accountability.

It is ownership that hires GM's etc etc. They make the decisions on major contracts. They make decisions on ticket prices and local sports networks, city/stadium and even uniform and mascot design. So it is ultimately ownership who one follows and supports or doesnt.

I used to be an O'Malley fan. Now I follow John Henry and Tom Werner (Larry Lucchino RIP).

"These guys have been kinda doing their thing..." What kind of a moronic statement is that? Monasterio has outplayed anything Story did. Sogard has been superb (again, he did the same last year) both in the field and at the plate. Shoot, Seigler has given the team more than Story ever did this year, Jahmai Jones is crushing lefties, hitting .520 with an on base of .536 in 17 games. You can kind of make an argument for Story, but IKF deserves nothing in terms of playing time. These guys "kinda doing their thing" have turned the Red Sox into one of the best teams in baseball. They have earned their places.
