Erin was in town here locally to help an environmental lawyer get some pollution problem on people’s radar. She’s still fighting the good fight! About this portrayal she said Julia got her “so right.”

The real Erin played a waitress at the dinner with the name tag As Julie, and in the same scene the real Ed can be seen as a customer in the back.

She really did bring those PG&E lawyers water from Hinkley.

Erin Brockovich and The Pursuit of Happiness exemplify how it costs more money to be poor.
Once you're down, the system wants you to stay down. 💔

Ed's gleeful face when he finally shuts Erin up with the $2M check and his "Cuz you SUCK at it!!" line at the end is one of my favorite scenes in movie history 😂😂😂 He was SO HAPPY he outsmartassed her!!

What's sad is that even though they won this trial, that amount of money is like a proverbial slap on the wrist for PG&E.

This is one of the great legal movies. No real court scenes, but a great true story. And stuff like this still happens…*ahem, Flint MI.

Steel Magnolias (1989) is another must-see Julia Roberts movie with a stellar ensemble cast 💖
