  My brother was gay and he also died of AIDS. He was a Christian who often said he hated being gay. When he was dying in the hospital bedridden with dementia and very weak I prayed he would rally for a day and be able to see some Christian’s who literally lived across the street and prayed for people who were sick, alcoholic etc. I showed up soon after to his hospital room to find he wasn’t plugged into anything, (his organs had shut down, no IV and he was sitting there fully aware and I asked him if he wanted to go see these men and pray with them. “He said I better go.” The hospital had no problem with me taking him out surprisingly and we went. The men prayed for him and he repented for “a lot of stuff” as they told me later. I am very grateful to God for not letting my brother die without repenting and being at peace when he did.

  Amen! Sin is sin because God says so. We can never excuse what God hates. We must point sinners towards the cross and God's word, exhorting repentance and faith towards Jesus Christ the Lord.
