  She stepped into the party, where people of the black market and the mafias were stepping together. Everyone seemed to turn their heads for her, glancing at her glittery black slit dress which matched perfect with her cat-like sharp eyes. The room seemed to glisten with the shake of her silver earrings. She was looking around and avoided many people&apos;s curious eyes as they knew she didn&apos;t like attending parties with a lot of people surrounded like this. <br><br>At a particular table, a man in a suit was standing and drinking champagne with other men. But he stood out from the crowd as he has actually put away his jacket. The group was chatting an laughing together. As soon as she walked near the table, the other people heard the now stopped footsteps and turned around at her. She was standing a few steps far from them, only looking at the man whom she came for. The man didn&apos;t look at her yet, but put down his empty glass of champagne.<br><br>&quot;So, I see you actually came, Ms. Veira?&quot; The man said, one hand in his pocket.<br><br>&quot;Call me Ashley...   While all the couples around them swayed in each others arms looking lovingly at each other, they both just looked straight into each others eyes. &nbsp;No expression. All blank. <br>She intentionally stepped on his foot causing him to look at her with a frown and then break out into a smirk. He twirled her around and then held her tightly by her waist.
