"Calling Cards to negative thought patterns" that's brilliant, Persona 5 got me through a bout of Bells Palsy and kept telling myself "It's just a mask" I had colleagues and customers saying how brave I was for not hiding away and tbh I never even thought about it, great video mate and thanks for that great insight

I have a whole different problem. My friends always end up betraying me and taking all of my other friends away through spreading negative rumors about me behind my back or something like that, but because my friends will trust them more than me, my “Akechis” always win, and I feel like I’m being used as some sort of scapegoat… This cycle has gotten so bad that I’m starting to avoid making friends on purpose because I don’t want to get hurt again. I feel like the only person I can really trust is my girlfriend, not even my own family, and definitely not any friends that I may have had…

There's nothing strange about saying that Persona changed your life because that's something many people have experienced.

There are like 20 videos on YouTube alone that talk for 10, 20, or even 30 minutes about their personal experience with the series and how it changed their lives.

and it is not only simply making connections with other people, I have seen stuff like a video talking about how it improved his daily routine or a video that came from a person who lived in a country under dictatorship.

Multiple studies have shown that video games can help people with their mental health but Persona is simply on another level when it comes to this

Started playing persona 3 reload on the beginning of last month and I fell in love with that game and was my first persona game btw. I was going through tough times mentally. That game tries to teach you about overcoming your fears and trauma. Atlus definitely gained them selves a fan man. gotta burn our dread

such a great video!
i just got into the persona series mainly bc i heard so many people talking about how these games changed their lives and i found that really interesting!
i’m currently playing persona 4 golden on ps vita, and i bought persona 3 reload and persona 5 royal on steam to play later! (they were on sale, hahaha)
i've always struggled with maintaining friendships and relationships in general since middle school bc i got bullied (and this type of trauma doesn't just disappear...), so the social links mechanics sounded really interesting to me!

anyways, i subscribed to your channel! thank you for making this video, it really resonated with me :)
(and sorry if my english's bad hahahah it's not my first language)

I didn’t get into Persona until 2022 and I wish I had gotten into it sooner but better late than never 😁 It’s definitely one of my favorite gaming franchises now and although it didn’t change my life per se, it definitely made living my adult life more bearable!

Persona changed my life too. I first played it in 2009 with Persona 3 Portable on psp as the femc because I was a young girl teen as well. The game hooked me instantly, and then Persona 4 Golden on the PS VITA came out. I played it and it changed my life. I always seemed like i made friends easily but i was actually a creative introvert who valued her alone time greatly. I was bullied in high school for bieng obsessed with anime and proud of it. I never hid what I loved and people exploited that. I had a close knit group of friends who were outcasts too so i related heavily to the casts. When base persona 5 came out i was in college and it really felt like the world was like the one in the game even if it was a microcism of japan. It felt universal somehow with its themes, and especially topical when the game came out. I still now play the games almost every other day , and finally got my partner to play p4g in 2020. He loved it. He then played Metaphor Refantazio and it became his fave jrpg and actually something he wants to replay, and hes not like me who replays games over and over. He never replays games!

Yeah
Persona 4 Golden is my fave persona game, and Metaphor Refantazio is my fave game of all time.
