Two cups of black coffee, two hours of solitude, with no one to ask me to do anything. THAT's self-care.

I think of it as anything that I can reap the incremental benefits of: brushing my teeth before bed, remembering to take my vitamins daily, drinking enough water, keeping my body and surroundings clean. The basics!

Love your writing Mark, but WTF are you in Los Angeles? I lived their for 40 years, it sucks and I think you're feeling it now.

PIG is another phenomenal Nicolas Cage film. Watched it on a 13 hour flight to Taiwan and killed the time in the best way possible. Think I watched both Dune movies too

Thank you for that, the following lines made me realize some of my current self-care is actually not doing good for me:<br><br>"Self-care is doing things for yourself that are good for yourself. And most things that are good for yourself are not necessarily pleasant. It's not enjoyment. It's not indulgence."<br><br>and also<br><br>"Self-discipline is self-love. The way you love yourself is almost parenting yourself. It's like forcing yourself to do the things that you don't feel like doing, but are good for you".

One of the big side effects to psychedelic use is Hallucinogen Persisting Perception Disorder(HPPD) which has is own list of problems. People cried foul when they possibly had to get a covid vaccine but line up to use drugs like LSD, mushrooms, mdma. All of these drugs can cause HPPD and no one gives a fuck for some reason.

Instead of Jesus camp, Scouting was a great option when I was a kid and I believe still is. I think in the US you have different variants of this, but on the whole it provides the community and social connections for youths. <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-bFtSod2UAM&t=2824">47:04</a>

Mr. M... love the books... Read them to my mom... however her version was "Subtle art of not giving a FROG! 81 and a classy woman, raised classy women DO NOT USE PROFANITY, can you say rebellious... so lucky to have my mom. We loved them, laughed and learned so much. I am going to revisit them as I recently was diagnosed with ADHD I am 55. All the comments you made are very valid, my religion Focus Revolution, Baking, RingFit... funny huh. I have never chosen a definitive religion as most have caused more wars and deaths than the loss of the Dinosaurs... exaggeration... maybe a little pinky worth. WORSHIP THE EARTH!!!.. I wouldn't be here without the planet giving to me everyday of my life. Now the mushroom trauma will be the topic of discussion with my doc, as I have PTSD, BPD, ADHD... FROGGEN acronyms none of them make me money... bahahahaha.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Keep up the great work, it is just so refreshing to know there is INTELLIGENT LIFE ON THIS PLANET!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
